RIGGING TRAINING COURSES & WORKSHOPS
Rigger training courses are designed to teach competent rigging skills and safe rigging practices as per ASME B30, OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 standards. A variety of course levels are available, ranging from rigging basics to advanced load control and load calculation.
COMPETENT RIGGING BEST PRACTICES
Intro/refresher rigging course. This course outlines the basics in competent rigging and safe rigging practices as per ASME B30, OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 standards.
SIGNALPERSON TRAINING COURSE
Course instructing the proper methods of signaling a crane operator by hand signal, verbal communication, and audible sound as per ASME B30, OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 standards.
ADVANCED RIGGER TRAINING COURSE
This course is designed to develop the calculation skills necessary to determine loading on slings and rigging hardware when planning a safe lift. The course will utilize both classroom presentations computational workshops to educate the student in calculation of Load Angle Factor, determining Center of Gravity, evaluation of required sling type, capacity, and length, accounting for D:d ratios, optimization of hitch configurations, and estimating weight of loads.
RIGGING INSPECTION CLASSROOM
Rigging inspection classroom course. Coursework covers criteria and methodology for conducting sling inspections and reviews standards that support the criteria.
RIGGING INSPECTION PRACTICAL
Rigging inspection course in practical setting with test. Coursework expands on classroom-based rigging inspection course by offering hands on experience in a practical environment and confirming knowledge retention with a written test.
